We're Eldad and Inna Mashiach, husband and wife, and the people behind MaMi and Mamush.
Our Mediterranean roots and our years in Brooklyn shaped the way we think about food: generous flavors, a table worth gathering around, and a welcome that makes you feel at home.
We believe the little things are what make a place yours: a warm hello, something delicious to share, and the feeling that there's always room for you. MaMi and Mamush are two ways of bringing that belief to life.

01 WHERE IT STARTED
FIRST,
MaMi.
Before there was Mamush, there was MaMi: our Mediterranean restaurant in Cresskill. We wanted to make the kind of place we love spending time in ourselves. Somewhere you could stop for coffee, settle into brunch, share a meal with friends, or bring the whole family.
The food is rooted in the flavors we love: hummus passed around the table, warm pita, bright salads, generous plates, and something worth taking one more bite of. But the table matters just as much as what's on it.
MaMi is our invitation to slow down and come together. A casual catch-up can become a long afternoon. A meal can become a celebration. That mix of Mediterranean warmth and a little Brooklyn energy is where our story begins.
02 THE NEXT CRAVING
AND NOW,
MAMUSH.
Mamush brings that same feeling to Englewood, with shawarma at the heart of the menu. Think of it as MaMi's little sister: a little louder, a little messier, and very serious about your next bite.
Here, the rhythm starts at the spit. Shawarma is carved, pita is filled, and everyone gets to make it their own. Chicken or steak. Herby falafel. A wrap for the road or a bowl for your lunch break. Then come the fresh toppings, the pickles, and the tahini, amba, or zhoug that pull it all together.
We wanted to bring our care for food and hospitality into an everyday stop. Something quick enough for a busy day, and generous enough to make that day better. You should leave with a full belly, a little sauce on your fingers, and a reason to come back.
